How to Create a New User Account?

Individuals who will use Hermes Accounting System need to have a user account in order to access the system. Each user account has a unique User Name, Password, Security Codeand Privileges which determine what actions a user is authorized to do within the system.

To create a new user account..

  1. Go to Controlling > Access Management



  2. Click "Create"

  3. Enter the necessary info:
    1. Last Name
    2. First Name
    3. Username - Must be at least three (3) characters
    4. Password - Must be at least five (5) alphanumeric characters
    5. Security Code - Must consist of 8-digit PIN
    6. Contact Info
    7. Email Address
    8. Posting Limit
    9. Department and Position
    10. Level
      1. 1-Owner/System Admin 
      2. 2-Accountant 
      3. 3-Accountant 
      4. 4-Purchasing 
      5. 5-Warehouse

  4. Click "Save"
